  • Visiting hours for Silas Hiscock Sr. of Bridgehampton, who died on Sunday following a crash at the Riverhead Raceway on Saturday, will be held at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor today from 2 to 4 p.m. and tonight from 7 to 9. Tomorrow a funeral at Edgewood Cemetery in Bridgehampton will start at 11 a.m.
  • A memorial service for Jay Jarboe will be held on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Montauk Lake Club and Marina. Mr. Jarboe’s partner, Linda Burkhardt, and stepdaughter, Lea Winkler, will host the gathering.

  • Word has come of the death of Steven Christopher Murphy, who lived in East Hampton from 1987 to 2003, in a hiking accident in Wailuku, Hawaii.
  • Thomas Kaczmarek, who was 74 and died of glioblastoma on Jan. 18 in Cary, N.C., was a man who accomplished many things and pursued numerous passions.
  • Mrs. Murphy died on Dec. 7 of cardiac arrest at her home on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She was 92.
