  • Concerned Citizens of Montauk and the Town of East Hampton are co-sponsoring a question-and-answer session on septic replacement rebates on Monday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at C.C.O.M.’s South Elmwood Avenue office.

    The town and Suffolk County are offering financial assistance to install new septic systems with advanced technology, and Mellissa Winslow and Samantha Klein of the town’s Natural Resources Department will discuss how the rebate program works. They will also have updated information about the county septic improvement grant, also widely available. Refreshments will be served.

  • Montauk Youth’s annual field day will be held on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at Third House. The free event includes a bounce house, a tug of war, face painting, relay races, and live music by the 3B’s. Hot dogs, soup, chili, and snacks will be sold, and there will be a raffle to help offset the cost of the event. Those interested in volunteering have been asked to email montaukyouth@gmail.com.

  • Prayers for peace and for the country will be offered at the annual Rosary Rally on Saturday at noon at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Montauk.
  • Jessica Lynn, a country music singer-songwriter who has toured in the United States, Canada, and Europe, will headline the Montauk Music Festival Rocks the Lighthouse concert on Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Music for Montauk will host a free concert on Saturday afternoon, and then the Montauk Music Festival kicks off next Thursday.
  • The new Montauk General Store at 699 Main Street will be open seven days, from 8:30 to 4 p.m., until April. It is owned and operated by Jessie Lavin and Kim Gatti.
  • The Darlene Lycke Scholarship Fund is selling raffle tickets for a New York Giants-Philadelphia Eagles football game on Sunday, Dec. 17. The lucky winner will win four tickets to the game with parking at MetLife Stadium.
  • Reservations are being taken for the a Fourth of July fireworks cruise sponsored by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and the Viking Fleet.
  • Rain could not dampen Sunday's 55th annual Montauk Friends of Erin St. Patrick's Day Parade.
