The East Hampton High School boys tennis team was 3-0 (2-0 in league play) as of this week, following wins over West Islip, Westhampton Beach, and Shoreham-Wading River.

Joe McKee, East Hampton High School’s varsity football coach, said this week that he’d “like to get a little more out there” concerning the recent decision by East Hampton to move up from Conference IV to III, as Section XI had ordained, based on new enrollment figures in grades 9 through 11.

Tom Cohill, who coaches the Y.M.C.A. East Hampton RECenter’s youth swim team, the Hurricanes, reported on their return last week from the state Y meet in Ithaca that the team, which finished fourth among the 40 Y teams entered, had numerous top-three finishes in a lot of age groups.
