A 63-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle, but not seriously injured, in a Pantigo Road crosswalk in East Hampton Village on Saturday morning.

Alyxandra D. Henry, 24, of East Hampton was in a 2007 Jeep making a left-hand turn from Egypt Lane, with the green light, onto Pantigo Road when she hit Barbara Evans of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., according to East Hampton Village police. The accident occurred at 8:58 a.m.

Ms. Evans, who complained of pain in the left hip and chest, as well as pain and bleeding in her right arm, said the crosswalk signal showed the walk sign and that she was in the crosswalk. Ms. Henry told police she didn’t see her in the crosswalk.

The East Hampton Village Ambulance Association took Ms. Evans to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
