SouthamptonFest, a series of family-friendly activities, will mark fall in Southampton Village this weekend.

It begins Friday with a concert by the Nancy Atlas Project in Agawam Park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the gate. Complimentary beer and wine will be served from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with a cash bar from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Other refreshments will be available from food trucks. All proceeds will benefit the Southampton Rotary Scholarship and Endowment Fund.

Tickets are available online at southamptonrotary.org, or at the Southampton Chamber of Commerce, village offices, The Southampton Press, the Southampton Publick House, the Rogers Memorial Library, and through Southampton Rotary members.

SouthamptonFest will continue on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 to 4. Activities will include stage coach rides, live music in the streets, a harvest fair at the Southampton Historical Society’s Rogers Mansion, art vendors, a chowder contest and chili cook-off, fire and emergency medical services demonstrations, and sidewalk sales.

Also on Saturday, the Southampton Fire Department will have an open house at the Windmill Lane firehouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Certified technicians from the Southampton Town Police Department and its Explorers program will be on hand to check children’s safety seats for proper installation. According to the police, 70 percent of seats such as infant and booster seats are installed incorrectly. The safety check is free of charge.
