Montauk Welcomes New General Store

The new Montauk General Store at 699 Main Street will be open seven days, from 8:30 to 4 p.m., until April. It is owned and operated by Jessie Lavin and Kim Gatti.

The shop has imported artisan cheeses, flatbreads, fresh baguettes, breads, pastries, biscotti and cookies from the Blue Duck Bakery, an array of spreads from Mt. Vikos, a wide selection of organic free-trade coffee beans, and tins of teas, local jams and jellies, sour dill pickles, old-fashioned candies and caramels, handcrafted soaps and bath bombs, Stonewall Kitchen products, plenty of Montauk gift items, pillows and blankets, jewelry, toys, and much more.

Ms. Lavin also works for Town and Country Real Estate. Ms. Gatti owns the Beach Boutique and Spa, a salon with a retail store offering women clothes and soaps and bath bombs in the Montauk docks area.
