‘Violin vs. Piano’ in Parrish Art Museum's Salon Series

Classical concert in Water Mill

The Salon Series at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill will continue on Friday at 6 p.m. with “Violin vs. Piano,” a program of works for solo piano and piano and violin performed by Niccolo Ronchi and Esther Abrami. The program will include transcriptions or arrangements based on compositions by Bach, Schubert, Paganini, Bizet, Chopin, Gardel, and Liszt.

Mr. Ronchi has won more than 50 prizes at international piano competitions, including first prize at the 2006 International Chopin Competition in Rome. Ms. Abrami is also a multiple prizewinner, among them a first at the Vatelot Rampal violin competition in Paris.

Tickets are $25, $10 for members, and advance registration is required.
