Up to Four Inches of Snow Friday Night
Snow that began falling lightly in East Hampton at about 3 p.m. on Friday became heavier by sunset.
The National Weather Service in Upton said that as much as four inches of snow could fall overnight, with isolated snow showers continuing on Saturday morning.
West wind with gusts to 20 miles per hour after midnight will make it feel as low as 15 degrees. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather watch for eastern Long Island for snow, wind, and icy conditions.
Sunday's forecast is for partly sunny skies with a high of 37.
